What is Glamping?
In many parts of the world, including the UK, Ireland, USA and Australia, glamping has become a very popular vacation activity. Glamping is known as ‘glamorous camping’. In other words it is camping, but in a form that is both convenient and luxurious. Often glamping is kept very simple and might be described as budget accommodation. In its most definitive form, glamping is a high-quality, boutique, vacation experience that provides the same levels of luxury and service you might expect in a high-quality hotel. Here at Glamping Vila Trilogy we are most definitely aiming towards offering this high level of accommodation and experience.
What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in – between 3pm – 9pm.
Check-out – is by 11am.
What are the bed and bedding arrangements?
Our Lotus Belle tents sleep two people in a king size or double bed.
Full linen, towels and bedding are supplied. The bed is made up with cotton sheets.
What are the cooking and kitchen facilities?
The kitchen is a fully-fitted modern facility situated near the tents in our traditional barn. There are two electric hobs, two sinks and a fridge freezer. Adjacent to the kitchen is a beautiful dining room with a large table and generous seating.
A charcoal-fired barbecue is available for guests to use.
All the pots, pans and utensils you’ll need for cooking and eating are provided for your stay.
Some pantry basics are supplied – olive oil, salt, pepper etc., there is a small herb garden nearby and, from time to time, fruit and vegetables, from our garden, are made freely available to guests.
What are the bathroom facilities?
We offer brand new bathroom facilities, including a shower, basin and toilet and complimentary toiletries.
Is there power?
Each Lotus Belle tent is supplied with mains electric power and has power points for plugs and other USB charging devices.
Is there mobile phone reception?
Mobile phone reception is excellent with 4G and 5G coverage dependent upon the provider.
Is there Wifi?
We provide Wifi in and around the kitchen, dining and pool areas. It is also very possible that the signal extends to your Lotus Belle tent but we do not guarantee a fast service within your tent.
Is there heating?
We operate during the warmer months of the year (May to September) so heating is not a requirement.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes. We are a pet-friendly location. Please view our terms and conditions for more information in relation to this.
Can I smoke/vape on the site?
Yes. For reasons relating to the health and safety of all our guests, and to ensure our facilities remain impeccable, we require smokers/vapers to use the strictly designated spaces.
How private and remote is Glamping Vila Trilogy?
Glamping Vila Trilogy is in a very private location, overlooking the village of Strigova. However, whilst it is private it is also incredibly accessible, a short 3-5 minute walk down a small trail takes you to the centre of the village.
What is the access like and where do I park my car?
Access, with a car, is via a short farm lane and once on-site you are able to park relatively near your tent.
Can I stay for one night only?
No. There is a standard minimum stay period of 2 nights
